Overview

During Apr 4 - Apr 7 2022, Easter Bunny Hunt took place on the 12th floor of TNS Vera List Center (the hub of Design and Tech community).

It was an onsite ARG detective board game that narrated an astonishing and sorrowful murder of an Easter Bunny as a member of the Design and Tech community.

Players were asked to collect clues from Easter eggs scattered in corners of the whole space onto the detective board, to find the murderer with the help from each other.

The game had high engagement within the DT community during 3 days. We received around 10 anonymous answers and 2 winners.

This project was originated from Narrative As Dynamic Systems course where we were asked to hack an existed ‘platform’ to make a game.

Teamed with Myles House and Simitha Rao Aluri, we decided to have a theme going along with the timing - Easter! We designed (’hacked’) a murder story out of the traditional easter activities, such as transforming egg-finding experience into clue-collecting process, uplifting the regular event space into a board-oriented detective hub, and recreating the story of easter bunnies into a detective one closely related to the DT community.

In this project, I contributed to the narrative writing and onsite experience design.
